2013-14 Where is Kari Going This Year?
You can add your pics and text here to share where Kari is in the world during 2013-14!!New Image.JPGKids75.jpg
Kari had a great time in Ocean City, NJ. She enjoyed hanging out with the Evans' boys. We hit the beach, got a tan, took lots of pictures. We didn't see any sharks, but the boys enjoyed teasing her (witness the sand shark above). They called her Flat Stanley, because they knew she was going to be sent all around the country to see many, many interesting places. Next week she is off to see Craig P in PA. I wonder where he will take her?

William Penn may be the tallest statue on top of any building, but Kari is a close second.

If Kari was around in 1776, I am sure she would have helped signthe Decleration here.

Kari is a big fan of pioneering women, like Betsy.
No trip to Philly would be complete without a picture with Rocky!

Greencastle-Antrim Middle School

Kari arrived and hung around a bit longer than expected due to an iPhone melt down and the kids growing very attached to sharing their work and projects with her! The students kept Kari VERY busy...

First Kari helped me teach the Engineering Design process to a group of very eager 7th grade STEM students as they worked to create their own working Rubik's cube prototypes!

Kari then hopped into the display case to help show off some of the students' creations!

Last, but not least, Kari hit the road with me to attend the TEEAP conference on November 8th. Here we met up with Craig Polakoff for a very mini STEMin13 reunion.
